| 概要 | Students will learn to use English in connection with learning about drama. This will involve discussion and proto-acting skills. Speaking English can never simply be about only saying words. We must perform language, employing a wide variety of techniques and speaking skills. We will read drama, and also experience drama by watching selected TV programmes and excerpts of films. There will be feedback sessions, where students provide their opinions on what we have watched etc. Also, students will be asked to create mini-dramas and act these out. Study involves all four skills, albeit with a focus on the spoken in class. In regard to writing, students will write their commentaries on certain topics, and will also write mini-dialogues, which will be edited throughout the year, to form the basis for a final submission of a document of 2,500 words in English. |
